A big blue helicopter and his best friend in the world, pilot Joe Baker, are invited to an air show in Pensacola, Florida. Joe and Heli are excited to attend the air show and have to make their way from San Diego to Pensacola. They run into a little bit of trouble along the way but make it safely to the air show. However, once they arrive Heli quickly realizes he is not like the other flying machines and becomes self-conscious about himself when none of the children want to see him.

 

Author Shawn T. Robinson brings to life a heartwarming character the reader is sure to identify with as he explores the United States and learns about himself during one of the great American past times... The Air Show.

 

About the author
Author, Shawn T. Robinson is a helicopter pilot in the Marine Corps. Ever since he
was a child, he loved airplanes and helicopters so becoming a helicopter pilot was
the fulfillment of a childhood dream. However, Shawn’s dad and stepdad were
both fighter pilots in the Air Force, and often he would find himself as the only
helicopter pilot in a room filled with jet pilots! Today, Shawn is proud to have the
opportunity to showcase the helicopter in his first heartwarming children’s book.

Shawn is originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Shawn currently lives in North
Carolina with his wife and daughter. He loves graphic novels, comic book and more.
